Data is modeled using historical sightings aboard Sydney pelagic trips dating from 1996 up to the most recent trip. All historic Great-winged Petrel records are unconfirmed and probably should be treated as Grey-faced Petrel. Historic Wandering Albatross records include gibsoni as a subspecies of D. exulans. We're in the process of moving historical gibsoni reports where identified to D. antipodensis gibsoni.
