OVERVIEW

Some cloud cover, fine. 23C. Easterly winds to 12 knots. Seas > 2-3m decreasing. 23.4C sea surface temperatures.

TRIP SUMMARY

First trip of the new year! Another first was a Buller's Albatross seen at close range. It represents the first January record for this species. The remainder was far more typical for this time of year.
